One barrel carburetor that was popular from 1963-1967 6 cylinder vehicles such as the Ford Mustang, Ford Falcon, Ford Fairlane and the Mercury Comet. If you want the "Bronze Edition" purchase the F1-1100-MB. It's the same carburetor with the bronze upper. This is a remanufactured item. Supply your carburetor to be professionally rebuilt or exchange it if you think your carburetor is cursed or haunted. You can exchange it for a professionally rebuild one. Cars equipped with a manual transmission have only one diaphragm that is located on the driver's side of the carburetor.

Notes: All remanufactured carburetors carry a 30-day warranty. When purchasing a "Remanufactured Carburetor" it is expected that you supply a like "Core". Upon receiving your "Core" we will have it professionally rebuilt. Remanufactured carburetors cannot be returned. All sales are final.

How do I identify my distributor?

Load-A Matic Distributor: This distributor was the standard distributor used on all Ford vehicles from 1960-1965 & in 1966-1967 49 states except for California. This distributor has two black springs on the drivers side of the distributor. This series uses a steel vacuum line from the distributor to the carburetor.

California Emissions Distributor: This distributor was used for two years only on 1966-1967 on vehicles with California emissions. This distributor does not have the two black springs. Another difference is the vacuum line is rubber and comes out of a diaphragm that has a hex head.

Ford Distributor: All Vehicles from 1968-1972. These distributors have no springs on the plate that is aligned with the points and condenser. You will also note that the hex at the end of the vacuum advance is no longer there. But it does have a dual diaphragm vacuum advance for retard and advance of the distributor. These also used rubber lines to the carburetor.

Petronix Igniter Upgrade: Highly recommended for all applications. By putting the Petronix Igniter in your original factory distributor you're getting the best of all worlds! You've got the original distributor curve, and the high electrical output of a new HEI unit. (Not to mention no more points and conducer replacements.) These take 10 to 15 minutes to install the 1st time. Put the Petronix in your distributor - your engine will run better!
